Nothing better than getting a new multi-tool. As luck would have it, I happened to be in Browns Stains today and stopped in to see Micheal at For The Riders.
The jaman files can proudly report that the Browns Plains shop is Awesome!!!
The shop is huge, and there are all sorts of cool bikes!
I had my eye on a new Multi-tool, The Topeak Alien 2.
I have made the mistake in the past of buying cheap tools. This time, I wanted to get a good one.
The first thing I noticed is that it is much lighter than my last Alien(2002).
There are a few nice touches, I like the chain pin Holder ( and the bottle opener of course.)
Hopefully this time I can avoid getting rust on it. 25 fuctions, but that is debateable.
Speaking of tools, how about all those super-trendy coffee drinkers?
I am so old-school, to me it's about the riding.
However, I am obliged to try to look the part with my new teammates.
I told my good mate the other day, I think it's time for a U-Turn in my life......(with mild sarcasm)
He said- "No need, keep the direction going!"
Thanks to Fly for this.
Spotted in Stones Corner is a Merida pro rider putting a U-Turn Fitness sticker on his TT bike. Imagine riding to breakfast on your TT bike....Thats PRO!!!
So make an effort and find out where the shop is!!!!!
I'll give you a hint.........
